Donald Wilson Lingle

Donald Wilson Lingle, age 75, of Sautee passed away Thursday, August 19, 2010 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Mr. Lingle was born December 5, 1934 in Wellsville, Kansas to the late Henry and Hattie Dickson Lingle. He was veteran of the United States Army and a member of Cleveland First Baptist, where he was an ordained deacon, a choir member and the supervisor of maintenance. Mr. Lingle was preceded in death by his half sister Mildred Eaton and granddaughter Perri Ann Olinger.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Lingle, Sautee; son and daughter-in-law John and Beverly Lingle, Cleveland; daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Jim Workman, Gastonia, N.C.; Elizabeth and Carson Olinger, Suwanee; grandchildren, Joshua Workman, James Workman, Matthew Lingle, Caitlyn Lingle, Timothy Lingle, Caden Olinger, Garrett Olinger; great-grandson, Brayden Workman.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, August 22, 2010 from Cleveland First Baptist Church. Mr. Lingle will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. The Rev. Dennis Turner and Rev. Timothy Sangster will officiate. Interment will follow in Eternal Hills Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
