Hazel Blanche Barnett

Mrs. Hazel Blanche Barnett, age 91, of Nicholson, GA died August 16, 2010 at the BJC Nursing Home. Mrs. Barnett was born in Nicholson, GA to the late, Clarence and Mittie Seay Luthi. Mrs. Barnett was a homemaker and was a member of Nicholson Baptist Church. Mrs. Barnett was preceded in death by her husband; Earl Barnett, Sr., son; Darrell Barnett, and three grandchildren.

Mrs. Barnett is survived by her sons; E.W. Barnett, Jr. of Nicholson, GA, Billy Barnett of Jefferson, GA, Rogers Barnett of Nicholson, GA, Walter Barnett of Nicholson, GA, and Larry Barnett of Hull, GA, daughter; Peggy Barnett Whitlock of Knoxville, TN, 14 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Wednesday 11:00 AM from the Nicholson Baptist Church with the Rev. Terry Smith, Rev. Dennis Kesler, and Rev. Mike Stowers officiating with the interment following in the Howington Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday night from 5-8 PM.
