Dorothy Autry

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mrs. Dorothy Sue Autry, age 77 of Cleveland. Mrs. Autry passed away Saturday, August 14, 2010 at a private nursing home following a period of declining health.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 Pm, Tuesday, August 17, 2010 from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Sargent and the Rev. Garry Hefner officiating. Interment will follow in Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Autry was born in White County on September 22, 1932 to the late Joseph O'Kelley and Dorothy Ivey O'Kelley. She was employed for several years at Talon and later at Babyland General Hospital. She was a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church and is preceded in deathe by her husband, L. D. Autry as well as brothers, Floyd, Lloyd, Demoris, Donald and Joe O'Kelley Jr. and sister Betty O'Kelley

Survivors include her sons and daughters in law , Danny and Gina Autry, Cleveland; Ricky and Diane Autry, Fort Walton Beach, Fl., son , Alan Autry, Cleveland; daughter and son in law, Cindy and Quinton Sellers, Cleveland and daughter, Stephanie Newman also of Cleveland; brother, Boyd O'Kelley, Swickley, PA.; sisters Barbara Glenn, Maysville; Bonnie Matheson, Orlando, FL. and Corrine Smith, Macon. Mrs. Autry is also survived by her 7 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6 to 8 PM.
