Keith Alan Nix

Keith Alan Nix, 39, passed away at Northeast Georgia Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Tucker, GA, he had been in Hall County for most of his life. He was employed by Wrigley Manufacturing as a mechanic. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, raced go-carts and loved Nascar. He was of the Baptist faith.

Keith was preceded in death by his father James Nix and his father-in-law and mother-in-law Damon and Nadine McKinney White.

Keith is survived by his wife, Dana White Nix of Flowery Branch, his children, Kyle and Sydney Nix of Flowery Branch; sister and brother-in-law, Hazel and Tony Martin of Cleveland; brother, Jim Nix of Oakwood; brother and sister-in-law, Bo and Renee Nix of Hoschton; sister-in-law, Linda White Smith of Gainesville; sister-in-law and husband, Angie and Steve Reed of Oakwood; special cousin/brother, Jamie Carlile of Braselton; nieces and nephews, Kaylee Nix, Jobe Nix, Nick Gaddis, Nicholas Lane Gaddis, Cody Reed, Cali Reed, Stacy Smith, Anita Spink, Tori Spink and mother, Anne Nix.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Sunday, August 15, 2010 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. The Rev. Charles Grant, Jr. and Rev. Gary Carlisle will officiate. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and again from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
