Ronald M. Young "Papa Ron"

Mr. Ronald M. Young "Papa Ron", age 61 of Sugar Hill, passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2010. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA and was a U.S. Army Veteran. Mr. Young was a graduate of Ohio University and worked for over 30 years in the mortgage profession. A road warrior who enjoyed working on antique British vehicles, playing golf and coaching baseball; known as "Coach Grandpa". He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jory Young.


Survivors include his mother, Martha Young of Zanesville, OH; children, Melanie Whitehead of Rogers, AR, Ryan Young of Hoschton, GA, Jonathan Matthew Young of Buford and Adrienne Young of Alpharetta; surviving mother of Adrienne, Andrea L. Young; sister, Patricia Walsh of Zanesville, OH; 7 grandchildren, Benjamin, Madeline and Whitney Whitehead, Reid and Reise Young and Meredith and Grace Young.


Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 15, 2010 at 4:00 pm in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Sunday, August 15th from 3:00 pm until 4:00.
