Geri (Board) Brook

Mrs. Geri (Board) Brook, age 43, of Dawsonville, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at her residence following a brief illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, August 13, 2010 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home. The Reverend Scott Wilson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, August 12, 2010 at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, August 15, 2010 at Cave Hill Cemetery, Cave-In-Rock, Illinois.

Mrs. Brook was born in Kankakee, Illinois, she is the daughter of Carol Board and the late Gerald Board. Mrs. Brook was preceded in death by her husband, Kevin Lavar Brook; and a sister, Jaime Board.

Mrs. Brook is survived by her mother, Carol Board, Dawsonville; brother and sister-in-law, Steven And Misty Board, Paducah, KY; sister, Paula Robinson, Flowery Branch, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Rene and Ronnie Baker, Dickson, TN; and an aunt, Teresa Wilson, Dickson, TN; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
