John Marcus Wallace

Mr. John Marcus Wallace, 85 of Gainesville died Tuesday August 10, 2010.

A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mr. Wallace was the son of the late Will and Maude Lathem Wallace. He was retired from the Northeast Georgia Medical Center with over 19 years of service. Mr. Wallace was a member of the Cool Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include his son, Stanley Wallace, Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law; Shirley and Britt Hogsed, Gainesville; grandchildren, David Gee, William and Lisa Gee, Hoschton; Zach Hogsed, Gainesville; great grandchild, Stephen Gee, Gainesville; niece, Wilma Couch, Gainesville; nephew and wife; Theo and Ruby Robinson, Gainesville. a number of other relatives and cousins also survive.

Mr. Wallace is preceded in death by his wife, Arizona Hyde Wallace, son, Stephen Lee Wallace amd a sister, Irene Grant.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday August 12, 2010 in the Mason & Ward Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Dean Townley and Rev. William Gee will officiate. Interment will be in the Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Dean Bryant officiating. The family will receive friends at the Mason & Ward Funeral Home Wednesday August 11, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
