Charles B. Morris

Mr. Charles B. Morris, age 94 of Cumming, passed away Thursday, August 5, 2010. He worked for the Civilian Conservation Corps before graduating from the University of Maryland. He also was a B-24 Pilot (15th Air Corps) during WWII. Captain Morris was a pilot with Pan American Airways for 30 years.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Sara Vinson Morris of Cumming; children, Charles B. Morris Jr. and wife, Linda of Atlanta, Thomas V. Morris and wife, Judy of Baltimore, MD and Ann Morris of Big Canoe, GA; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; a number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 9, 2010 at 12 pm in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ron Preuss officiating. Interment will follow in Delmar, MD. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Monday, August 9th from 11:00 am until hour of service.
