Pollie Leota "Lee" Jarrard

Mrs. Pollie Leota "Lee" Jarrard, age 80, of Dahlonega, Georgia died Thursday August 5, 2010.

Mrs. Jarrard was a native and lifelong resident of Lumpkin County and was a member of Yahoola Baptist Church in Lumpkin County. She retired from the Mohawk Industries Pinetree Plant in Dahlonega.

She was the daughter of the late Charles Anderson and Polly Allison Anderson and was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Dean Jarrard, daughters, Hilda Jarrard and Brenda Watson, and several sisters and brothers.

Mrs. Jarrard is survived by grandsons, Josh Watson and Mike Watson; 4 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM Saturday August 7, 2010 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega. Rev. Dean Bryant and Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Yahoola Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumpkin County.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11 AM until 2 PM and 6 PM until 9 PM and again on Saturday from 9 AM until the time of service.

Banister Funeral Home of Dahlonega is in charge of the arrangements.
