Mrs. Addie C. Barrett, age 82 of Alpharetta passed away Monday, August 2, 2010. She was a homemaker and an employee of Sears from 1955 to 1988. She was a member of North Peachtree Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Danny Barrett.

Survivors include her husband, Ernest Barrett of Alpharetta; son and daughter-in-law, David & Shin Barrett of Norcross; grandson, Michael Barrett and his wife, Beth of Buford; granddaughter, Michelle Carroll and her husband, David of Sugar Hill; four great grandchildren, Kirsten, Ethan, Twins Lauren and Morgan Carroll.

A Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 5th at North Atlanta Memorial Park Cemetery in Doraville, Georgia with Rev. Johnny Watson officiating. The family will receive friends and relatives from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Wednesday, August 4th at Byars Funeral Home in Cumming, Georgia.
