Paul Curtis Amon

Mr. Paul Curtis Amon, 75, formerly of Linden, NJ, died Saturday July 31, 2010 at his residence in Oakwood, GA. Funeral services are scheduled for 7:00pm Thursday, August 5, 2010 at Little and Davenport Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 5, 2010 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

He was the son of the late Anton Arthur and Ruth Emelia Kastner Amon. He lived and attended schools in Linden, NJ and was a graduate of GMI in Flint, MI. He was employed for several years with Amon Motor Car Company and retired from Bell South.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Amon is preceded in death by his youngest son, Curtis A. Amon.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Barbara J. Amon, of Oakwood, sons, George P. Amon and his wife Nancy, James P. Amon; 5 grandchildren; sister, Ruth Antonia Guido, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial contributions be made to the American Kidney Foundation American Kidney Fund, 6110 Executive Boulevard, Suite 1010, Rockville, MD 20852 or to Humane Society of Northeast Georgia, 845 West Ridge Road, Gainesville, GA 30501.
