Dorothy L. Samples

Mrs. Dorothy L. Samples, age 75 of Cumming, passed away on Friday, July 23, 2010. She was a member of Cross Plains Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Royston Cebern Samples.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Michele and Joey Edmondson of Cumming; sons and daughter-in-law, Tim Samples of Lawrenceville and Stan and Kathy Samples of Big Canoe; sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Freddie Ford of Alpharetta; 6 grandchildren, Justin Samples, Becky Samples, David Edmondson, Royston Edmondson, Sierra Edmondson and Chris Samples; 2 great grandchildren, Kate Garrett and Ben Samples; a number of other relatives also survive.


Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 25, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Cross Plains Baptist Church in Alpharetta, GA with Rev. Charles Dispain and Rev. Johnny Purcell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Saturday, July 24th from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm and Sunday, July 25th from 9:00 am until hour of service.
