Larry John Cantrell

Larry John Cantrell, 63, of Cumming, GA died on July 22, 2010 at Embracing Hospice House. Born in Hall County, he was the son of the late Christie and Kathleen Cantrell.

A graduate of Chestatee School, he worked at American Proteins for 10 years. An avid NASCAR fan, he also loved to sit on the porch of his home and watch traffic pass.

Larry is survived by his children, Kris (John) Bolton of Dawsonville, GA, Melissa Cantrell of Cumming, GA, Rachael Cantrell of Gainesville, GA, Jacob (Tiffany) Cantrell of Gainesville, GA, Kea (Robbie) Woody of Cumming, GA and Jill Pendley of Cumming, GA; brother, Lanny (Dianne) Cantrell of Cumming, GA; sisters, Kathy (Phil) Holbrook and Donna (Ricky) Layman of Cumming, GA; special friend and fiancée, Jenny Swanson of Cumming, GA; grandchildren, Ashley and Blake Bolton, Ethan and Dayton Cantrell, Braxton Woody, Chelsey, Layla and Reyce Pendley.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, July 25, 2010 in the chapel of McDonald and Son. Rev. Ruel Martin, Rev. Danny Bennett and Rev. Gerald Blackburn will officiate. Interment will follow at Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 23 from 6:00 â
