Mayzena McDaniel Cash, 88, of Gainesville, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2010 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Born in Hoschton, GA, on July 3, 1922, she was the daughter of the late James Omer and Ella White McDaniel. She was a member of Chestnut Mountain Church and of the Jesus Now Sunday School Class in Chestnut Mountain.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cash was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt Cash.
Survivors include her daughters, Alice Fowler of Oakwood, Nancy Powell of Buford, Annette Harkins of Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Fannie Mae Cash of Gainesville; grandchildren, Janet Hembree, Robyn and Chris Still, Jeff and Susan Harkins, Stephanie and Josh Mize, Craig and Jennifer Cash, and 9 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday July 24, 2010 in the chapel of Little and Davenport Funeral Home. The Rev. Jeff Benefield will officiate. The family will receive friends at the Little & Davenport Funeral Home Friday July 23, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
