Alford Patrick

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Alford Patrick, age 67, of Maysville, who passed away Thursday, July 22, 2010. Mr. Patrick, born in Franklin County on March 6, 1943, was a son of the late, J.W. Patrick and the late, Willie Mae Payne Patrick. He worked as a logger with L.H. Davis and Son Logging company. Mr. Patrick was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Greg; sister, Wilma Cochran; brothers, Billy and Robert Patrick.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Bingham Patrick of Maysville. Children: Vickie Jones of Phoenix, AZ; Tammie Lewis of Commerce; Rodney Holland of Maysville; Chuck Patrick of Commerce; and LaTonya Nicole Hudson of Watkinsville. Eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Sisters: Johnnie Sue Hill of Commerce; Annie Ray Cartledge of Nicholson. Brothers: Leroy Patrick of Commerce; Edward Patrick of Commerce; Weymon Patrick of Glenville; Roger Patrick of Commerce; and David Patrick of Commerce.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Winfred Bingham and Rev. Sherry Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in the Bingham Family Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Henry Lewis, Joe Leftwich, Neil Bingham, Ricky Cain, Scott Hudson, and Stephen Cain.
