Nellene Bennett

Mrs. Nellene Bennett, age 88, of Forsyth County, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lovic and Dora Conner; husband, Brice Bennett and son, Samuel Bennett. Mrs. Bennett was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, was a Choir Member and active in WMU.


Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Carol B. and Herman Adams of Ponce DeLeon, FL and Cathy B. and Rev. Jimmy Hogan of Gainesville, GA; sisters-in-law, Inez Cain and Ardell Bennett both of Gainesville, GA; grandchildren, Tim, David and Tommy Adams and Bryan and Jason Hogan; 10 great grandchildren; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held, Thursday, July 15, 2010 at 1:00 pm at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Hogan, Rev. Vernie Worley and Rev. Scott Sorrells officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Bennett will lie in state at the church from 12:30 pm â
