Diane Adams

Mrs. Diane Adams, age 52, of Dahlonega, GA, died Sunday, July 11, 2010 at her residence with her family at her bedside.

Diane was a native and lifelong resident of Lumpkin County. She was employed at the Mohawk Industries Pinetree Plant in Dahlonega for over 25 years. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her father, Price Thomas; and infant brothers, Joseph and David Thomas.

Diane is survived by her husband, Ray Adams, Dahlonega, GA; Daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Daniel Rider, Dahlonega, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Ima Adams, Dahlonega, GA; mother, Christine Thomas, Dahlonega, GA; brother, Daniel Thomas, Dahlonega, GA; grandchildren, Hunter and Tyler Adams, Austin and Cheyanne Rider. A number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Adams are scheduled for 2 PM Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at the Yahoola Baptist Church in Lumpkin County. Rev. Dave Fortner and Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate.

Mrs. Adams will lie in state at the church on Tuesday from 1:30 PM until 2 PM.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega on Monday July 12, 2010 from 1 PM until 9 PM and again on Tuesday until the time of service.
