Mrs. Alba Mae Chance, age 83 of Cleveland formerly of Pensacola, FL passed away Thursday, July 08, 2010 at her residence.
Mrs. Chance was born February 2, 1927 in Pensacola, FL to the late Allison and Bessie Earnest Cobb. She was a librarian and a member of East Hill Baptist Church in Pensacola. Mrs. Chance was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Chance.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Melodie and Harold Palmer, Cleveland, GA; Rene and Randy Garrett, Washington D.C.; grandchildren, Stetson Lusk, Jeremy Palmer, Bryan Palmer, all of Cleveland; Joel Garrett, Stacey Garrett, Nathan Garrett, all of Washington D.C; great-grandsons, Braxten Palmer, Cleveland; James Garrett, Washington D.C.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Sunday, July 11, 2010 from the Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel in Pensacola, FL. Interment will follow in Bayview Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 5-7 PM at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel Pensacola, FL.
