J. D. Bradford

Mr. J. D. Bradford, age 89 and a lifelong resident of Forsyth County passed away Saturday, June 26, 2010. He was member of Brookwood Baptist Church. Mr. Bradford was the founder and owner of Bradford Sanitation and an Army Veteran of WWII. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Bradford, daughter, Jeanette Pruitt, son-in-law, Robert Pruitt, and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Shirley Bradford of Forsyth County; daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Russell Brown of Cumming and Janice and Robert Shirley of Cumming; brother and sister-in-law, John and Pearl Bradford of Chamblee; sister, Dorothy Bradford of Tampa, FL; sister-in-law, Emma Bradford of Forsyth County; 8 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held, Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 11:00 am at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Purcell officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Monday from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Tuesday from 9:00 am until hour of service.
