Frances Elizabeth Ivey

Frances Elizabeth Ivey age 93 of Gainesville passed away Saturday at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

She was born in Hall County on July 23, 1916 to the late Ezra and Lida Harmon Stewman. She was retired from the United States Postal Service, and was a member of The Business and Professional Womens Assocation, and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. She also was a member of Chicopee United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Eddison Ivey.

Survivors include, son & daughter in law, Charles & Peggy Ivey of Gainesville, grandson, Tim Ivey of Gainesville, twin brother, Loy Stewman of Sandy Springs.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday June 29, 2010 at the Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Cole officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

The Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.
