Martha Sue Grindle,

Mrs. Martha Sue Grindle, age 71, of Forsyth County, passed away Monday, June 14, 2010. She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. Mrs. Grindle was preceded in death by her mother Madge Hicks; father and step-mother, Edmond & Corrine Hicks.

Survivors include her husband, J.T. "Billy" Grindle of Dawsonville; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and John Mashburn of Cumming; sons and daughter-in-law, Charles and Vickie Grindle of Dawsonville and Marvin Grindle of Dawsonville; sister, Shirley Humphries of Pelham, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Cloyse and Loyce Hicks of Cumming and Lanny and Carolyn Hicks of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Marialice Mashburn, Andrew and wife Jennifer Grindle, Samuel Mashburn, Katie Grindle, Theodore Mashburn and Marguerite Mashburn; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held, Thursday, June 17, 2010 at 11:00 am in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gerald Blackburn officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 15th from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Wednesday, June 16th from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
