Ethelene Stewart Irvin

Ethelene Stewart Irvin, age 73 of Alto, passed away Saturday, June 12, 2010 at her residence following an extended illness.
Born in Banks County, GA on August 08, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Randolph and Nancy Lewallen Stewart. Ms. Irvin was a retired farmer and was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Ms. Irvin was also preceded in death by a sister, Maybell Carpenter.
Survivors include daughter, Tammie Irvin Bacle of Alto; sister, Imogene Brock of Baldwin; grandchildren, Alyssa and Cody Bacle of Alto; nieces, Marie Brock, Betty Nichols and Judy Rhodes all of Baldwin.
Memorial services are 2:00 pm Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Burrell and Rev. Gene Todd officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1 pm until the service hour on Wednesday. The family is at the residence. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Ethelene Irvin Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 725, Cornelia, GA 30531.
