Douglas L. Sudderth

Douglas Lamar Sudderth, age 51 of Homer, Georgia passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2010 at his residence.



Mr. Sudderth was born in Hall County, Georgia on February 14, 1959. He was preceded in death by a brother Ricky Lynn Sudderth. He was formerly employed with Magnolia Window and Door Company and was a member of the Metro Baptist Church. Mr. Sudderth was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, and will be greatly missed by all.



Survivors include his loving wife of 21 years, Diane McCoy Sudderth, Homer, GA; parents, Troy and Barbara Buffington Sudderth, Homer, GA; son, Brian Lamar Sudderth, Homer, GA; step-daughter, Janice Griffin, Buford,GA; grandson, Hunter Kade Sudderth, Homer, GA; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, with the Rev. Wayne Hicks officiating. Interment will follow in the White Hall Baptist Church Cemetery.


The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, GA.
