Edward Scott Wheeler

Edward Scott Wheeler, age 42 of Demorest, passed away Saturday, June 12, 2010, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.
Born in Habersham County on October 31, 1967, he was the son of Helen Scroggs Wheeler Holland of Demorest and Paul W. Wheeler, Sr. of Demorest. He was employed as a plumber at C & H Mechanical and was of the Pentecostal faith. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred Bascom Scroggs, David Charles Wheeler, Sr. and Cora Lee Wheeler.
Surviving in addition to parents are daughter, April Wheeler of Clarkesville; son, Joseph Lumpkin of Clarkesville; grandson, Lucas Daniel; brothers, Leslie Shawn Wheeler, Paul W. Wheeler, Jr. and William Keith Wheeler all of Demorest and Robert Lee Wheeler of Seneca, SC; maternal grandmother, Ida Jane Thompson Jenkins of Baldwin; former wife Lynn Wheeler of Clarkesville.
Funeral services are 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 15, 2010, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart with Rev. Bill Trotter officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 & 6-8 pm on Monday. The family is at the residence of his mother, 110 Pheasant Dr, Demorest, GA 30535. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Edward Scott Wheeler Memorial Fund, PO Box 725, Cornelia, GA 30531.
