Mary Ellen Goff

Mary Ellen Goff, age 68 of Mt. Airy, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2010 at Stephens County Hospital.
Born in Rock Hill, SC on August 06, 1941, she was the daughter of the late John and Martha Russian Shaver. Mrs. Goff was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed canning, sewing, quilting and helping others. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Goff was also preceded in death by a son, Mark Ashley.
Survivors include daughter, Margie Darlene Foster of Dandridge, TN; sons, Michael Thomas Ashley of Clarkesville, Johnny Ashley of Chester, SC and Jack Ashley, Jr. of Mt. Airy; several grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive.
