Jimmy Morris Tate

Obituary Date: Tuesday, June 8, 2010
Mr. Jimmy Morris Tate, age 71, a native of Forsyth County, passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2010. He was of the Baptist faith, a Forsyth County Bus Driver for 28 years, a former mechanic and an avid hunter and fisherman. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Donald and Daisy Tate and son, Danny Tate.



Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, David and Angie Tate and Avery and Keshia Tate all of Forsyth County, daughters, Susan Tate and Kelley Kandell both of Forsyth County; siblings, Charles Tate of Panama City, FL, Diane Mansell of Dahlonega, Dale Glasscock of Pelzer, SC and Kenneth Tate of Forsyth County; best friends, Roy Bagby and Davis Duran; grandchildren, Allen, Terry, Ashton, Logan, Aaron, Stephen and Molly; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.



Funeral services will be held, Monday, June 14, 2010 at 1:00 pm in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Bottoms, Rev. Danny Orr and Rev. Terry Cowart officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday, June 11th from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Saturday, June 12th from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm, Sunday, June 13th from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm and Monday, June 14th from 9:00 am until the hour of service.
