Hilda Marie Smallwood Jackson

Hilda Marie Smallwood Jackson, 63 of Gainesville died Monday, June 7, 2010 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a period of declining health. A native of Hall County, she was the daughter of the late T.J. Smallwood and of Nellie Mae Loggins Smallwood.

A loving daughter, mother and nana she will be greatly missed.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Charlie and Frances Loggins and paternal grandmother, Era Helton Smallwood.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Steven and Kaye Jackson of Gainesville, Greg and Barbara Jackson of Clermont, and Shane Jackson of Cleveland; mother, Nellie Mae Smallwood of Gainesville; grandsons, Hayden Jackson, Dylon Jackson, Logan Jackson; granddaughter, Whitney Waters; sisters, Linda Clore of Gainesville, Sue Smallwood of Marietta; devoted cousin, Jackie Jackson of Gainesville.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 11, 2010 at Yellow Creek Baptist Church. The Rev. Larry forester and Rev. Ferrell Presley will officiate. The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday, June 10, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Yellow Creek Baptist Church Cemetery fund, 6007 Yellow Creek Rd. Murrayville, GA 30564.
