Harold O. Puckett

Mr. Harold O. Puckett, age 82, of Buford, GA passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, Odus and Bessie King Puckett; sisters, Elsie Mae Brown, Mildred Shoemake, Ruth Johnson, and Edith Kelley. He is survived by: wife of sixty-five years, Sue Martin Puckett, Buford, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Jill and R. Garry Glenn, Oakwood, GA; grandsons, Morgan Glenn, Buford, GA and Mason Glenn, Los Angeles, CA; sister and brother-in-law, Runell and Ben Youngblood, Buford, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Virginia Puckett, Sugar Hill, GA; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Sparky and Jean Martin, Buford, GA; sister-in-law, Judy Puckett Martin, Buford, GA; special niece and nephew, Nan and Donald Beard, Buford, GA; special great-nieces and great-nephews, Danny and Kelley Beard, Cleveland, GA and Darlene, Roger, Nick and Jake Williams, Flowery Branch, GA; and other nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Puckett was born March 19, 1928 in Buford, GA. He was a graduate of Sugar Hill School in Sugar Hill, GA. He was a retired designer from Automatic Sprinkler Corporation of America after forty years of service. He also was a carpenter for Donald Beard Construction Company. He was a member and deacon of New Bethany Baptist Church in Buford, GA where he was a member of the Adult Sunday School Class.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Ashworth and Mr. R. Garry Glenn officiating.

Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
