Myron Ray Chapman

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Myron Ray Chapman, age 68, of Jefferson, who passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2010. Mr. Chapman was born on October 19, 1941 in Hoschton, GA, a son to the late George Herman Chapman and the late Mrs. Johnie Lois Bradberry Chapman. Mr. Chapman was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was retired from the U.S. Post Office in Athens , where he was Director of Mail Processing.

Survivors include his sons and daughters in law, Matthew and Katie Chapman, Cumming, Chris and Kim Chapman, Jefferson, friend, Sherrie B. Floyd, Jefferson, brother, Mack Chapman, Athens, grandchildren, Dustin and Hanna Chapman.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 7, 2010 at 11am in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. William Whitfield officiating. The visitation will be held on Monday morning from 10am â
