Donnia B. Cross

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mrs. Donnia B. Cross, age 92 of Bremen, formerly of Clermont. Mrs. Cross passed away Sunday, June 6, 2010 at a private nursing home following a period of declining health.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM, Monday, June 7, 2010 from Skitts Mtn, Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Irvin and the Rev. Kyle Savage officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Cross was born on July 24, 1917 in Hall County to Harrison Savage and Ernie Loggins Savage. She was a retired typist and was a longtime member of Skitts Mtn. Baptist Church Mrs. Cross is preceded in death by her husband, Lee Cross.

Survivors include her sons, Linzy Crossof Wedowee, Alabama; Billy Cross, Gainesville; Buddy Cross and Clay Cross both of Bremen, Georgia; brother, Grady Savage, Clermont; sisters, Mendy Satterfield, Clermont and Nelly Mae Proctor of Doraville; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren

The body will lie in state at the church on Monday from 1 to 3 PM, the family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 AM to 12:oo PM
