Clayton Free

Mr. Clayton Free, age 80, of Cumming passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2010. He retired from Mar Jac Poultry at the age of 75 after 44 years of service.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Kathryn Day Free of Cumming; children, Charles and Maria Free of Dawsonville, Helen and Ron Bennett of Cumming and Barbara and Ken Townley of Cumming; grandchildren, Phillip Bennett, Nick Wilbanks, Jill Wilbanks, Krystle and Philip Lyerly, Chase Wilbanks, Clay Free, Crystal Hanson, Katie Free, Joey and Brandy Bennett and Melissa Driggers; 1 great grandson, Jackson Driggers; brother, Robert Free of Cumming; sister, Ethel Sosebee of Blue Ridge; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June, 4th at 11:00 am at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clark Watson, Rev. Doug Carnes and Rev. Edwin Terry officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Thursday from 12:00 noon until 9:00 pm and Friday from 9:00 am until hour of service.
