Genevieve Stephens Duncan

Genevieve Stephens Duncan, age 81, of Alto, GA passed away on Tuesday, June 01, 2010, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Mrs. Duncan was born on July 9, 1928, in Hall County, GA to the late Johnny and Florence Kimsey Stephens. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Duncan and her brother Ernest Stephens. Mrs. Duncan was a graduate of Lula High School and a retired employee of Carwood Manufacturing with 50 years of service. She was a member of Enon Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son, Aubrey Duncan, Collierville, TN; her brother, Kimsey Stephens, Alto, GA; and her granddaughter, Ashton Duncan, Collierville, TN.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 3, 2010, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, GA with Rev. Wayne Strickland and Rev. Quinnon Duncan officiating. Interment will follow in Enon Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday, June 02, 2010, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, GA.
