Linda Sullens Tritt

Linda Sullens Tritt, age 66, of Dahlonega, GA died May 27, 2010 at her home following a courageous 21 year battle with breast Cancer.

Linda was a native and lifelong resident of Lumpkin County. She was a homemaker and was also employed with the Fieldale Corporation. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Lumpkin County.

Linda was the daughter of the late Loy and Myrtle Sullens and was also preceded in death by her brothers, Dee Sullens and Travis Sullens; Nephews, Mickey Crawford and Benny Sullens.

She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Robin and Joseph Pierce, Rhonda and Roy Stroh; grandchildren, Dustin Peirce, Mason Pierce, and Ethan Pierce; sisters and brother-in-law, Lucille Anderson, Eulene Poore, Robbie and Charles Wehunt, Barbara West; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerrell and Sue Sullens, Freddie and Melinda Sullens. A host of nieces, nephews, and other friends and relatives also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3 PM Sunday May 30, 2010 at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Lumpkin County. Rev. Charles Buice, Rev. Larry Watkins, and Rev. Dean Bryant will officiate.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Ms. Tritt will lie in state at the church from 2:30 PM until 3 PM on Sunday.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 7 PM until 9 PM and on Saturday from 2 PM until 9 PM.
