Florine Howard Gilliland, age 86 of Buford, GA died Friday, May 28, 2010.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at 2:00pm at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Chris Holland will officiate. Interment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Duluth.

The Family will receive friends on Monday, May 31, 2010 from 2 to 4 and again from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Gilliland was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Paul Gilliland. Daughter Shelba Gravitt and Grandson, Doug Moore. Surviving are Daughter, Shirley Moore, Buford. Daughters and Sons In-law, Linda and Wayne Strickland, Flowery Branch, Joyce and Henry Taylor, Buford and Ellen and Rick Boyd, Monticello. 14 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren, and 6 Great Great Grandchildren. Sister, Rosa Mae Abercrumbie, Jefferson.

Mrs. Gilliland was born in Marietta, GA and was a life long resident of metro Atlanta. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Marietta.
