Lucian (Sam) L. Higginbotham

A memorial service will be held Tuesday May 18,2010 at 2:00 p.m. in Blackshear Place Baptist Church, for Lucian (Sam) LeeRoy Higginbotham age 72 of Gainesville. The Rev. Jeff Crook and Rev. Dave Channell will officiate. Mr. Higginbotham died May 3,2010 at his residence after an extended illness.

He was a member of Blackshear Place Baptist Church, he was retired from the United States Air Force. Mr. Higginbotham is survived by his wife, Patricia Higginbotham of Gainesville, three sons, Clayton Higginbotham, Lee Higginbotham, Jerry Higginbotham, two daughters, Tina Gay Higginbotham, Deborah Reither, two brothers, James C. Higginbotham and Jack Higginbotham.
