Lynda Black Lunsford

Ms. Lynda Black Lunsford, age 66 of Cleveland, passed away Friday, May 7, 2010 at her residence following an extended illness.

Ms. Lunsford was born to DOROTHY COOK BLACK and the late CHARLES D. BLACK SR. on May 20, 1943. Ms. Black was a registered nurse and was employed by United Home Health and a member of Cleveland First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Chris Black and Monte Black.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Sherri and C.J. Couch, Cleveland; Susi and Jeff Meaders, Six Mile, S.C.; daughter, Sonja McGuire, Cleveland; mother, Dot Black, Cleveland; brother and sister-in-law, Bud and Margie Black, Cleveland; grandchildren, Jake Trigg, Katie Garland, Annie Mae McGuire, Ben McGuire, Cara Ann McGuire, Trey Couch, all of Cleveland; Libby Couch, Clayton;G reg Meaders, Kalyn Meaders, Both of Six Mile, SC, and 3 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Monday, May 10, 2010 from Cleveland First Baptist Church. The Rev. Doug Bennett, Rev. Bill Buckalew, and Dr. Bob Massey will officiate. Interment will follow in Yonah View Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-9 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
