Adam Leroy Dale, age 75, of Gainesville, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 11:00 am at Free Chapel with interment to follow in the Dewberry Baptist Church #1 Cemetery. Reverend Katties Lancaster and Reverend Dwayne Wellborn will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 6, 2010 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm and Friday, May 7, 2010 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Dale was born on March 27, 1935 to the late Pratt and Katie Dale in Hall County. Mr. Dale was a member of Free Chapel Worship Center. He was very active and faithful to his church. Mr. Dale served as an usher and greeter for Free Chapel Worship Center. He was also very active in working in his Harvest House Food Ministry. Mr. Dale was loved by many people and will truly be missed. Mr. Adams is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Ethel Dale.
Mr. Dale is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte and Norman Epps of Gainesville, son and daughter-in-law, Donnie and Lisa Dale of Pendergrass, grandson, Adam Epps of Gainesville, granddaughters, Robbie Dale and Melissa Wright, and 7 great grandchildren.
The family would like to give special thanks to the 5th floor nurses and hospice nurses at Northeast Georgia Medical Center for their love and care.
