John Michael McConnell, age 3, of Gainesville, Georgia, went to be with Jesus Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at Scottish Rite Children's Hospital following a sudden illness.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Alta Vista Cemetery. Reverend Tracy Hulsey will officiate.
The family will receive friends Thursday May 6, 2010 from 5:00 to 9:00pm and Friday, May 7, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at the funeral home.
John Michael was born on March 23, 2007 to John and Stephanie (Standridge) McConnell in Gainesville. John Michael was an angel sent to his parents, brothers, sister, and grandparents and great grandparents. During his short three years he touched many hearts with his smile and big blue eyes. He was always looking out for his twin sister with whom he shared an inseparable bond.
