James F. Lord

Mr. James F. Lord, age 72, of Dawsonville, passed away Monday, May 3, 2010. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Tabernacle Church in Lilburn, GA. Mr. Lord was a park attendant at Clay Hill Campground and started and pastored several churches in the area.

Survivors include wife, Lorene Lord; son and daughter-in-law, James M. and Donna Lord of Dawsonville; daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry and Ralph Smith of Sugar Hill and Darlene and Ricky Pirkle of Dawsonville; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; several other relatives also survive.

A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at 2:00 pm in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Turner, Rev. Tony Roughton and Rev. Michael Pirkle officiating. Interment will follow in Boiling Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Milton. The family will receive friends, Monday, May 3rd from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Tuesday, May 4th from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm.
