Mr. Robert Scott Stephens, age 50, of Cumming passed away Thursday, April 29, 2010 following a sudden illness. He was a graduate of Forsyth County High School Class of 1978. Scott was an avid sports fan who enjoyed freshwater and saltwater fishing. He was a very loving and good hearted son.
Survivors include his mother, Linda Grainger James of Cumming; father, Robert L. Stephens of Pensacola, FL; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Scott Hayman of Canton; uncle and aunts, Charles and Mary Grainger of Huntsville, AL and Joyce Grainger Farmer of Sheffield, AL; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives also survive.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, May 2, 2010 at 2:00 pm in the Ingram Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Larry Deckard officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 2nd, from 1:00 pm until the hour of the service.
