Sybil Lee Edwards

Mrs. Sybil Lee Edwards, age 83 of Murrayville passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2010.

Mrs. Edwards was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Edwards and grandson, Michael Edwards. She was a member of Wahoo Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Mrs. Edwards is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Sherry Edwards of Murrayville; her brother, Jewell Lee of Gainesville; granddaughter, Jamey and Rick Prettyman, Jenifer and Chris Harper, great-granddaughters, Ashley Prettyman and Harley Harper, great-grandson, Seth Harper. Patsy Cumbie was Mrs. Edwards caregiver.

Funeral services for Mrs. Edwards will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 30, 2010 in Strickland Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Dean Bryant will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday April 29, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Wahoo Baptist Church Cemetery.
