Luis Fernando Sánchez Legrand, MD, PhD, age 58, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2010, after a courageous and honorable battle with pancreatic cancer. He was a gentle and loving man, who will be missed greatly by his family and everyone whose lives he touched.
A memorial mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 1, at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Roswell, GA.
Dr. Sánchez is survived by his mother, Elisa Legrand de Sánchez; daughter, Elisa Bowling; son-in-law, Charles Bowling; former wife and best friend, Ana Calderon; siblings, Ilna, Silvia and Julio Sánchez and many nieces and nephews.
