Sara Ann Gary Mitchell

Mrs. Sara Ann Gary Mitchell, age 67, of Columbus, OH, formerly of Nicholson, GA died Saturday April 24, 2010 at her residence. Mrs. Mitchell was born in Jackson County to the late Alfred and Willie Lee Wade Gary. Mrs. Mitchell was a homemaker. Mrs. Mitchell was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Mitchell.

Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her three daughters, Alicia Sears of Homer, GA, Brenda Blanton of Columbus, OH, and Vicky Varner of Commerce, GA; brother, Alvin Gary of Commerce, GA; four sisters, Peggy Price of Commerce, GA, Easter Smith of Danielsville, GA, Pat Sellers of Commerce, GA, and Lib Little of Stephens, GA; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Thursday, April 29th, at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Chambers officiating with the interment following in Howington Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday night, April 28th, from 6:00-8:00 PM.
