Carroll Lee Glover

Carroll Lee Glover, 73, of Suwanee died on April 22, 2010 at North Fulton Regional Hospital. Born in Gainesville, he was the son of the late Clifford and Beulah Glover.

Carroll graduated from Grady High School where he participated in ROTC. He retired from Lucent Technologies after 30 years and retired once more from the DeKalb School System after 10 years. Carroll had a passion for missions and went on many mission trips through his church, Second Ponce De Leon Baptist Church. A member of the church for 41 years where he was a deacon, did audio production, and was involved with the youth ministry.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 52 years, Florence K. Glover of Suwanee; daughters, Debbie G. (Tony) Latham of Sugar Hill and Linda G. (Michael) Ladd of Suwanee; son, Richard L. (Rachel) Glover of Oakwood; granddaughters, Samantha and Sydney Latham and Olivia Ladd; grandsons, Brett Glover and Mason Ladd; and step-grandchildren, Amanda, Ashleigh and Mike Ladd.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, April 26, 2010 at Second Ponce De Leon Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA. The family will receive friends from 12:00 â
