Donna Evelyn Cash Burk, age 67, of Hartwell, formerly of Cornelia, passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2010.
Mrs. Burk was born on August 25, 1942, in Habersham County, to the late Theo and Georgie Evelyn Wood Cash. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph S. Burk. She was a member of Camp Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Burk was a secretary to the Director of Nursing Education at Georgia State University.
Survivors include her sisters, Linda Cash Wright, Toccoa and Mary Cash Kelley, Toccoa; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 24, 2010, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest with Rev. Joey Thompson and Rev. Doug Brown officiating. Entombment will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 23, 2010, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest.
