Kathleen Ruth Doan, 58, born in Detroit, MI and residing in Hoschton, lost her battle with lung cancer on April 20, 2010.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Earl Doan; daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Tom DeVoie; daughter and son-in-law, Shauna and Steve Hamby;and son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Tiffany Doan. She will be remembered for her strength, and unwavering devotion and love to her family especially her 5 grandchildren, Cady, Zachary, Hunter, Meghan, and Brody. She was a talented quilter who spent countless hours making homemade gifts for those she loved. She was a true and loyal friend to many. She will be remembered lovingly and missed terribly.
