Mr. Guy Cantrell, age 70, of Cumming passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2010. He was a member of Roanoke Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lendon and Mary Cantrell; son, David Cantrell; brother, Bill Cantrell; and sisters, Ellene Bryant and Christine Cordle.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Terrie Castleberry of Albany; daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Wendell Burt of Leesburg, Stacy and Eric Sims of Leesburg; son, Bradley Cantrell of Albany; sisters and brother-in-law, Voncille Smith of Forsyth Co. and Inez and Eugene Chambers of Forsyth Co.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Royce and Katie Cantrell of Gainesville and Wayne and Marie Cantrell of Lumpkin Co.; 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives also survive.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Keith Cantrell officiating. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Wednesday from11:30 am until hour of service.
