Ralph Lee Runkle

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the dearth of Mr. Ralph Lee Runkle, age 74, of Cleveland. Mr. Runkle passed away Friday, April 16, 2010 at his residence following a period of declining health.

Memorial services are scheduled for 3:00 PM, Saturday, April 24, 2010 from Cleveland United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dick Huycke officiating Mr. Runkle was born on September 20, 1935 in Coradopolis, PA to the late Talford Runkle and Irene Cochenour Runkle. He was a graduate of Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA and served with honor in the United States Army. He was the founder and owner of UTM Power Products. Prior to his moving to White County in 2007, Mr. Runkle lived in Fernadino Beach, Florida.

Mr. Runkle is survived by his wife, Christine Runkle, Cleveland; sons and daughters-in-law, Ron and Julia Runkle, Cleveland, Todd and Brontie Runkle, Morganton, NC; brother, Jack Runkle, Monongahela, PA; grandchildren, Rebecca Runkle, Megan Runkle, Andre Runkle, Matthew Runkle, Kevin and Derrick Runkle
