Dorothy Jean Gilreath

Mrs. Dorothy Jean Gilreath, age 64, of Dahlonega, GA, died April 12, 2010.

Mrs. Gilreath was a lifelong resident of Dahlonega. She was a poultry farmer for 30 years and worked at Longbranch Elementary School. She was a member of Philippi Baptist Church.

Mrs. Gilreath was the daughter of the late Robert L. Welch and Cora Lee Grindle Welch.

She is survived by her husband Archie Gilreath, Dahlonega, daughters, Michell Moses, Dahlonega, Walita Wooten, Gainesville; sister, Kathleen Wimpy, Dahlonega; grandchildren, Savannah Moss, Kayla Ray, and Nick Wooten.

A visitation for Mrs. Gilreath will be held Tuesday April 13, 2010 at Banister Funeral home in Dahlonega from 4 PM until 9 PM.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Philippi Baptist Church in Dahlonega.

Banister Funeral Home of Dahlonega is in charge of arrangements.
