Robert Edwin Gartrell

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Robert Edwin Gartrell, age 66, of Hoschton who passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2010. Mr. Gartrell was born on January 2, 1944, a son to the late Edwin and Carroll Ruth Williams Gartrell. Mr. Gartrell worked in concrete construction and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include his wife, Gay Maria Weaver Gartrell, Hoschton; children, Jeffrey Gartrell, Dahlonega, Daffney and Chris Faulkner, Dahlonega; grandchildren, Sydney Gartrell, Gus and Cal Faulkner.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at 11:00am in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Hayes officiating. The burial will follow at 2:00pm in the Dahlonega Memorial Cemetery in Dahlonega. The visitation will be held on Monday evening, April 12th, from 6:00-9:00pm at the funeral home.
